Description
“NewsTeam” is the app developed by Newsteam S.r.l.s addressed to non-professional sporting organisations all over the world, but also to individuals who want to manage their teams
With “NewsTeam” a registered organisation/user can:
- create its/his/her own teams in private or public form;
- extend participation in teams to other members, whether they are staff, athletes or parents of under-aged athletes;
- manage its/his/her own teams and athletes;
- manage communications for their own teams;
- create sporting events concerning the teams;
- manage convocations of its/his/her athletes for a specific sporting event;
- enter data and photographs of the athletes, prior their consent;
- enter photographs and comments about events;
- display the map of the event;
- update in real time the results of the sporting events;
- promote his/her image;
- make its/his/her sponsors visible.
With NewsTeam an athlete can:
- answer to convocations;
- manage his/her participations in teams with just one user;
- update his/her profile with photographs and personal data;
- enter comments and photographs in events and in the bulletin board of his/her teams.
With NewsTeam a parent can:
- obtain the parental control of the under-aged athlete;
- answer to his/her son/daughter’s convocations;
- manage his/her participations in teams with just one user;
- update his/her son/daughter’s profile with photographs and personal data;
- follow the events of his/her teams;
- enter comments and photographs in events and in the bulletin board of his/her teams.
With NewsTeam every registered user can:
- follow public teams and events.
Type of processed data
a) Sign-in data
Users can signup using an external account provider like Google, Facebook or Apple. NewsTeam will ask the provider some basic information about the user: email and profile The user's email will be store on our systems and will be used internally to uniquely identify the user and possibly send information relating to the user's teams, if the user wishes. User's data will never be visible to other users through the app or the website, neither shared with anyone.
b) Browsing data
The computer systems and the software procedures responsible for the operation of the app/web site acquire, during their normal activity, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.
Such information is not collected to be associated with identified interested subjects, but, due to its own nature, it could allow to identify the users if elaborated and linked to data possessed by third parties. IP addresses, or the names of the domains used by users that connect to the app/site, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the required resources, request time, method used to submit the request to the serve, dimension of the file obtained, etc. are included in this category.
Those data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining statistic anonymous and aggregated information about the use of the app/site and to check its correct operation, and they are permanently on third parties’ servers (hosting providers). Those data might be used to ascertain liability in case of possible cybercrimes against our site.

Purpose of processing: your data, collected during surfing, will be processed for the following purpose:

Personal data supplied voluntarily by the user: the optional dispatch, explicit and voluntary of e-mail to the addresses indicate in this app/site, and the compilation of forms present in the same, entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s personal data (not to be limited to name, surname, e-mail address). Processing method: personal data are processed with manual, electronic tools and also by means of cookies for the time strictly necessary to reach the goals they were collected for. Each processing is carried out respecting the methods indicated in art. 6, 32 of the GDPR and adopting the appropriate safety measures provided for.
Processing concerning web services is carried out at the office of the Controller and at the provider Aruba located in Italy and is retained at the offices where the physic servers are.
